Joe and Christa Turnbull have a heart and passion to see the world come to Jesus.

Their hearts beat for the public proclamation of the Gospel-whether that means sharing Jesus one-on-one in a grocery store or preaching to 100,000 people in a field.

At the center of everything they do is a simple mission: preach the Gospel, equip everyday believers for evangelism, and use creative Gospel expressions to ignite the Body of Christ to reach their cities and take territory for Jesus.

Together, they have ministered in more than 26 nations across Africa, Europe, South America, and beyond. But through years of traveling internationally and witnessing masses come to Christ and entire cities impacted by the Gospel, God began placing an undeniable burden on their hearts for their own nation.

Joe remembers returning home after seeing thousands respond to Jesus overseas and thinking: "America needs missionaries too." That burden became a calling.

Joe's own story began in America when he surrendered his life to Christ at an evangelistic meeting with Reinhard Bonnke in Orlando, Florida. Almost immediately, he began taking the Gospel to the streets. He attended Bible college, served in the local church, and worked with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

It was through local-church evangelism that Joe met Christa-while they were literally knocking on doors, sharing Jesus.

Christa had developed her own passion for missions through YWAM, completing a Discipleship Training School in Fiji and serving on the mission field. Their shared love for Jesus, people, and the Great Commission became foundational to their marriage.

In 2020, another significant door opened when Joe trained with Christ for All Nations and later served as a crusade director. That season helped prepare and launch their family into the calling God has placed before them.
